Who I am

Hi, I am Peg
Keeley. There are few things more frustrating than knowing you
are not where you want your life to be. It may be a job that
is the wrong fit, it may be the right fit, but a lack of advancement.
You may be trying to decide where your calling is, what you
want to do with your life. Or maybe you are ready to retire
from your first career and would like to explore something new.
I graduated from University of New Jersey at Trenton with a
bachelor of science in nursing, minor in english, psychology
and biology in 1975. Shortly after, I married a wonderful guy
(yep, we are still together!) and have helped five children
get to adulthood! I am now grandmother to two wonderful (and
cute) grandchildren as well.
But life's
road is not always smooth and sometimes it is hard to see what
lies ahead. After 23 years in nursing, I found myself in a new
town and unable to find a good fit nursing position. Computer
skills which I had learned in one nursing position suddenly
became my primary job when I was hired to do an on-line continuing
education program at Asbury Seminary. That led me to completing
a master of arts in pastoral counseling in 2007.
Throughout
my adult life I have been a magnet for people who wanted to
take their lives to a higher level and stretch themselves and
I have enjoyed helping people find their way to better things.
The experiences of my life fit together to create an exciting
new door of opportunity and service.
I was once
in the place where you now are: What do you really want?
What keeps you from getting there? I made a door - and I
hope you will, too!
